  • All-Upper School Event this Friday Night!

This Friday, September 20 day students are encouraged to stay after sports and enjoy an evening on campus with grade-level dinners followed by hypnotist Brian Imbus. Students will enjoy three separate grade-level dinners from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. - a great class bonding opportunity! Then, back by popular demand, hypnotist Brian Imbus will perform in the Harris Theater from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Day students are welcome to stay after sports (see information about boarder buddying below) or to be dropped off at 6:50 p.m. for the show. Pick-up will be at 9:00 p.m. sharp for all day students.
Boarder Buddying: Day students are welcome to "boarder buddy" between school and evening activities as needed throughout the year. Whether before a musical rehearsal, an arranged advisory dinner, or one of these Friday night events, day students simply need to follow these steps:
    1) Find a buddy. Ask a boarder to be your host on campus for the afternoon. Boarders may host up to two students at a time. With 148 boarders, there is definitely a host for everybody.
    2) Sign up in the Upper School Office. A sign-up sheet will be available for day students to sign up and indicate their boarder host. Students should sign up during the week of the event. Sign-ups will close on the day of the event at 12:00 p.m. so we have a proper headcount for meals. Day students must sign up to boarder buddy and let us know if they change their plans so we have an accurate count of students on campus.
    3) Enjoy! Return to the dorm with your host after sports. Dinner will be served on campus. Day students need to remain with their host while on campus.
Note: All day students must bring their belongings with them to the evening events as they will not be allowed to return to the dorms after 7:00 p.m. Also, all day students are subject to the same rules and schedules as boarders when boarder buddying. Of course, all school rules apply.
Pick-up: After all of these events, pick-up will take place in Harlow Circle only! Please use the East Entrance to campus off Middle Road. Parents, for the safety of all students, do not make arrangements to pick up in other places.
