  • New Student Picnic August 31

    All new students and their families are invited to the New Student Picnic on Thursday, August 31, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. on the Main Quad. Enjoy dinner on campus and meet our teachers and other new families. The School Store will be open to purchase Fay gear! Fay's Main Quad is located in front of the Root Academic Building. In the event of rain, the picnic will take place in the Dining Room.   • Completed Health Forms are Required to Attend Classes

    Massachusetts Department of Education requires that all schools have current health records for their students. Parents are reminded that their children will not be permitted to attend classes or participate in P.E. or athletics programs until all required health forms, including current immunization records, have been submitted to the Health Office. Students with missing or incomplete health forms will be required to stay home until the forms have been submitted.

  • Grade Level Parent Coffees This Fall

    Parent Coffees are informal, informative, and interactive meetings where you can learn more about your child's school day, program, and activities from teachers and division heads. In Lower and Upper School, each Parent Coffee is organized by grade level and is scheduled from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. Meetings for grades 3-9 are held in the Root Meeting Room.

    In Primary School, Parent Coffees are open to all K-2 parents and will feature Interactive meetings with specialist teachers. Meetings are held in the Primary School Commons and are scheduled from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m.

  • MooseDuds Summer Hours

    Fay families, faculty, and staff are invited to shop at MooseDuds, our on-campus shop featuring gently used dress-code clothing, including girls' and boys' blazers, and a variety of youth sports equipment. MooseDuds summer hours are:

    Friday , August 11: 1:00-3:00 p.m.
    Friday, August 18: 12 noon-2:00 p.m.
    Monday, August 21: 4:00-6:00 p.m.
    Tuesday, August 22: 1:00-3:00 p.m.
    Tuesday, August 29: 6:00-8:00 p.m.
    Thursday, August 31: 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. (during the New Student Picnic)
    Tuesday, September 5: 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. (during the All School Family Picnic)
     
    Donations Needed: Donate your child's outgrown blazers, skirts, pants, shirts, and ties to MooseDuds! You can also donate outgrown sports gear, such as soccer cleats or shin guards. Donation bins are located outside Mooseduds in the lower level of the Camp Dining Room Building. Park in the adjacent parking lot, enter the building, and head down the stairs one level. Thank you for donating!

    Volunteer at MooseDuds: If you are interested in volunteering at MooseDuds on Wednesday mornings during the school year or have any questions about donations, please contact the Parents' Association.

  • Ensure you receive automated notifications of school cancellations

    In order to receive an automated notification of school cancellations, delayed openings, and unannounced early dismissals, each student's emergency contact phone numbers must be accurate. Please follow the steps below to update your child's emergency contact phone numbers:
    1. Log in to MyFay
    2. Go to your child's name in the top left corner of the page
    3. Click on the "Contact Card" tab
    4. Click on "Manage" under "Emergency Contacts" [Click here for details]
    5. The "Active" numbers listed are the numbers called in the event of a school cancellation, delay, or early dismissal
    6. The "Inactive" numbers are all the phone numbers in our records for your family
    7. Drag and drop between the two lists to update your "Active" phone number(s)
    8. Once you've dragged the appropriate contact to the "Active" section, click on the "Automated Call" drop-down and select "Emergency Only" [Click here for details]
    9. Click "Save" to close the box and return to your child's contact card page. You should now see the emergency contacts listed [Click here for details]
