Fay After School Clubs, Spring Term
Please note that Clubs must have a minimum enrollment to run. If a program has low enrollment, students will be able to transfer to another Club or receive a refund. Also, Clubs meet once per week, from 3:00 - 4:30 pm.
“Keys for Kinders” is a piano club for Kindergarten students. This club will be a group lesson for beginners with no prior experience. The club will take place in Fay’s piano lab, which has six student keyboards connected via a Korg Piano Lab system. Students will learn through singing, playing games, using iPad applications, and through a traditional piano method book (John Thompson’s “Teaching Little Fingers to Play”).

Does your child love to experiment and ask questions about the world around them? If so, it sounds like you already have a budding scientist on your hands! During this club, students will explore their curiosities and cultivate a deep love for science by experiencing the different domains of scientific study. Students will engage with concepts from the fields of astronomy, earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering using LEGO® bricks and other interactive learning tools. We make science fun, exciting, and approachable.
Get ready to groove, pop, and lock! This club is a high-energy hip-hop dance class designed for students who love to move, and express themselves. Each class is packed with fun choreography, rhythm games, and cool dance moves that help build confidence, coordination, and creativity. Students will learn the basics of hip-hop while having a blast with friends in a supportive, encouraging environment. This club is perfect for beginners and little dance stars looking to shine!
During this club, students will learn the basics of the sewing machine (including safety!) as well as some different hand stitches. They will use new skills to sew some creative projects, including bags, stuffed animals, and accessories. Each project will take about 2-3 classes to complete, and students will be able to take their creations home when they are finished.
No experience is necessary - beginners are welcome. We have all new projects for the spring term!
Our Karate Club helps develop teamwork, balance, control, discipline, focus, memory, coordination, and fitness by using fun karate drills and exercises. These skills will ultimately benefit students in school, and at home. During the club, students can work to earn their white belt or a stripe to add to their white belt if they already have one.
Step into the magical world of ballet through the pages of your favorite stories! During this club, dancers will twirl, leap, and glide as they bring beloved fairy tales and characters to life through movement and music. Each week will feature a new storybook adventure paired with beginner ballet technique, creative movement, and imaginative play. This enchanting club fosters confidence, coordination, and a love of dance while sparking creativity through storytelling. Perfect for little dancers who love both books and ballet!
During this club, students are taught using a curriculum integrating traditional method books and computer software to allow students to learn at their own pace. Daily practice at home is expected and is essential to student progress. There will be a recital scheduled at the end of the spring to showcase the skills developed.

Step into the world of movie magic! In this exciting club, students will learn how to bring their own clay characters to life through the art of stop-motion animation. Students will design and sculpt colorful clay figures, build simple sets, and use cameras or tablets to capture their stories frame by frame. Along the way, they’ll discover the basics of storytelling, sequencing, and creative problem-solving while working together on fun, hands-on projects. By the end of the term, students will have their very own short claymation film to share with family and friends. Perfect for budding artists, storytellers, and filmmakers.
Join a professional coach to develop your love of football into skills and knowledge about the game. During this club, players will learn offensive and defense plays, and they will work on ready positions, throwing, catching, handling the ball, learning the field, and scoring touchdowns. Along the way, we will play full football games and will build skills and confidence in a safe and fun environment.
In this club, students will dive deep into the exciting world of 3D printing. Through a series of hands-on activities and a look at the methodology behind 3D printers, students will see their ideas become a 3D reality. At the end of the term, they will be proud to take home their creations to show family and friends.
Discover the fascinating world of food modeling with our latest club from Paradise Island Kids. Using a variety of delicious ingredients, students will learn the methodology behind creating "fake-out" foods like savory-looking pasta and sweet sushi rolls. Featuring all-new recipes, this club is perfect for those ready to take their culinary creativity to the next level.

In this club, students will create their very own enchanted castles from the ground up—designing, building, and furnishing every room with a mix of wood, stone, and lush greenery. But the magic doesn’t stop there! When the construction is done, we’ll explore our Borax-free Slime Lab to concoct gooey mixtures fit for the castle dungeon.
This fun and calming club introduces students to the world of yoga and mindful movement. Through playful poses, gentle stretches, breathing exercises, and imaginative games, students will learn to connect their minds and bodies while improving balance, flexibility, and focus. Each session encourages creativity, self-expression, and relaxation, helping students build confidence, reduce stress, and develop healthy habits for both body and mind. This club is perfect for students ready to explore movement with intention and joy!
Unleash your creativity in the digital world! In this fun and engaging club, students will learn the basics of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, two of the most powerful design tools used by artists and designers everywhere. Students will explore digital drawing, photo editing, and graphic design, creating colorful illustrations, fun posters, and cool digital art projects. No experience? No problem! Step-by-step instructions will guide beginners while also offering creative challenges for more experienced young artists. By the end of the term, students will have their own digital art portfolio to show off their amazing creations.
STEMology™ is a magical, hands-on learning adventure where science meets mythology and fantasy. In this imaginative club, young explorers become apprentice wizards, dragon trainers, and myth-busting scientists as they dive into real STEM concepts hidden inside legendary worlds. From testing “dragon fire” reactions and designing fairy wings to constructing castle catapults and decoding mermaid messages, every lesson blends storytelling with discovery to spark curiosity and confidence. STEMology™ builds critical thinking, teamwork, and innovation while making learning feel like a magical quest—where every student becomes the hero of their own scientific adventure.
During this club, expert instructors will provide informative and challenging chess lessons to students. Chess teaches children many important life concepts, such as the ability to win graciously and accept defeat with dignity and sportsmanship. Students will be divided into groups according to their age and chess experience. The program will include strategy, lessons, games, and even a mini-chess tournament.

In this club, students will use advanced LEGO® bricks and Spike Prime® technology to explore the basics of robotics while building some pretty spectacular vehicles and machines! While working with a partner, students will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how to use word-block coding to program their creations. We will support them in the development of their programming and building skills and inspire them with creative building challenges.
