Fay After School Clubs, Fall Term
Please note that Clubs must have a minimum enrollment to run. If a program has low enrollment, students will be able to transfer to another Club or receive a refund. Also, Clubs meet once per week, from 3:00 - 4:30 pm.
Our Karate Club helps develop teamwork, balance, control, discipline, focus, memory, coordination, and fitness by using fun karate drills and exercises. These skills will ultimately benefit students in school and at home. During the club, students can work to earn their white belt or a stripe to add to their white belt if they already have one. Beginners welcome!
Get ready to discover, design, and create! Each session, students will dive into hands-on activities that blend science, technology, engineering, art, and math in exciting ways. With a new theme every session—like Fall Explorers, Favorite Characters, Beach Bash, Beautiful Butterflies & Intriguing Insects, and Gardening & Farming—young innovators will experiment, problem-solve, and bring their ideas to life. This club is the perfect mix of creativity, curiosity, and fun!
During this club, students will learn the basics of the sewing machine (including safety!) as well as some different hand stitches. They will use new skills to sew some creative projects, including bags, stuffed animals, and accessories. Each project will take about 2-3 classes to complete, and students will be able to take their creations home when they are finished.
No experience is necessary - beginners are welcome. We have all new projects for the fall term!
During this high-energy, fun-filled club, young performers will explore the exciting world of musical theater through dance. Students will learn basic dance techniques while developing skills in rhythm, coordination, and expression, all set to the catchy tunes of popular Broadway shows. Each session will focus on fun choreography, character movement, and storytelling through dance.
Join us this fall for a pop star themed hip hop movement club! Each session will begin with a warm up and will include skill building and technique instruction, pop star themed dance choreography, and a cool down. Throughout the term, students will learn multiple dances to music from their favorite stars while acquiring hip hop skills and technique.
In this club, students will begin to explore robotics and engineering design while working with LEGO® WeDo 2.0 kits. They will solve fun robotic challenges and will work with a partner to build a robot using coding, sensors, gears, axles, and other mechanical components. Throughout the term, students will be challenged in fun ways that will captivate their interests and grow their technical skills.
During this club, students are taught using a curriculum integrating traditional method books and computer software to allow students to learn at their own pace. Daily practice at home is expected and is essential to student progress. There will be a recital scheduled at the end of the spring to showcase the skills developed.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to knit? Now is your chance! Knitting helps children practice mindfulness, persevere through challenges, and strengthen their fine motor skills. In this club, students will learn beginner knitting skills and complete a project based on their skill level.
Let your creativity shine in this fun, hands-on club where students become designers! Students will learn to create their own unique accessories, such as colorful bracelets, trendy necklaces, hair clips, and more. Using safe, kid-friendly materials like beads, ribbons, charms, and fabric, students will explore their imagination and develop crafting skills. Whether your child loves fashion or simply enjoys making things, this club is perfect for fostering creativity, boosting confidence, and having fun with friends.
Learn the art of food modeling with a variety of edible delicious ingredients! Students will be tasked with a challenge to re-create a confectionery masterpiece using pre-made ingredients like fondant, cake, cupcakes, Rice Krispies, and various frostings and icings based on fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving themes.
No experience is necessary - all masterpieces will be brought home to enjoy.

Through playful activities and lively games, young performers will learn to use their voices, bodies, and expressions to become bold, creative characters. Together, they’ll explore how to act, react, and work as a team to bring stories to life in exciting and imaginative ways.

Dive into the colorful world of collage! In this hands-on club, students will explore mixed-media art using a variety of tools and techniques to design one-of-a-kind compositions. Some projects will grow over several sessions, allowing for even more creativity and detail. While all materials are provided, students are welcome to bring their own special ephemera to make their artwork truly personal. By the end, each artist will have a vibrant portfolio of imaginative creations to share and celebrate.
Get up, get going, and get active during our Multi-Sport club. F.A.S.T. Athletics will offer a variety of sports each week, such as Soccer, Kickball, Basketball, Dodgeball, Pillo Polo Hockey. Programs will include proper stretching and warm-up games as well as learning basic skills of each sport, each class will end with a high energy game with the sport played that day.
Roll up your sleeves and get ready for hands-on fun! Each session brings a brand-new project—whether it’s whipping up gooey creations in our famous Slime Factory, experimenting with exciting science activities, designing colorful mosaics, or painting vibrant mixed-media canvases. Students will stretch their creativity, make memories with friends, and learn new skills along the way. All materials are included, and every masterpiece goes home to share. No experience needed—just imagination and enthusiasm!

Blast off into a galaxy of creativity! In this Star Wars and outer space inspired club, students will team up to explore the exciting world of robotics while drawing inspiration from their favorite droids and space machines. Along the way, they’ll learn how to use distance, color, and pressure sensors, combine simple machines to create movement, and discover the power of programming. With every build, their skills will grow stronger. May the Force be with them as they engineer, program, and explore!
Join us outside on the field (or indoors in inclement weather) for a fun-filled soccer experience! Instructors from F.A.S.T. Athletics will lead high-energy drills and games designed to build confidence and teamwork. From passing and dribbling to shooting, goalkeeping, defending, and more, players will sharpen their skills while having a blast with friends.
During this club, expert instructors will provide informative and challenging chess lessons to students. Chess teaches children many important life concepts, such as the ability to win graciously and accept defeat with dignity and sportsmanship. Students will be divided into groups according to their age and chess experience. The program will include strategy, lessons, games, and even a mini-chess tournament.
