Pre-registration with at least 24 hour notice is recommended. Drop-ins are welcome on a space available basis. Our Fall, Winter and Spring Sessions follow the Fay School Academic Calendar, offering an after school option every day school is in session.
Our 2018-2019 dates are as follows:
Session I: 9/5/2018 - 12/13/2018
Session II: 1/3/2019 - 3/7/2019
Session III: 3/26/2019 - 6/6/2010
Junior Moose – Grade K – 2
Housed in our Primary School, Junior Moose provides a flexible, activity-based program for our Kindergarten through Second Grade students from dismissal to 4:30 p.m. Under the supervision of our Primary School teachers and Fay After School Associates, students participate in games, arts and crafts, and theme based projects tailored to the children’s age. At 4:30 p.m., students who register for the full day program continue their day in the Primary Building until they are picked up.
Senior Moose – Grades 3 & 4
New to Fay After School this year, third and fourth graders will have the opportunity to participate in Senior Moose, a program designed and supervised by our third and fourth grade teachers. Senior Moose will run from dismissal to 4:30 p.m. each afternoon and take place in the Root Building: it will include time for snack, homework completion, outdoor play, and student-centered enrichment activities. At 4:30 p.m., students who need to stay later join the Full Day students in the Primary Building until they are picked up.
Supervised Study Hall - Grades 5-9
Students in grades five through nine (all of whom participate in athletics after school each day) may drop-in for Supervised Study Hall following their athletics commitment until 6:00 p.m. Located in the Primary Commons, Fay After School Associates offer a quiet, supervised space for students to work on homework while waiting to get picked up at the end of their day.
