Upper School Applicant Checklist

The Upper School Admission Process

Submission of the Application for Admission form begins the application process. Day student applicants should submit applications by January 15, 2020. Subsequent to that date, day student applications will be considered on a rolling basis dependent on space availability. Day applicants who meet the January 15, 2020 deadline will receive notification of admission decisions on March 10, 2020.

Boarding applicants are considered on a rolling basis. International applicants who would like to be considered in the first round of decisions should complete their applications by December 13, 2019. Subsequent to that date, international boarding student applications will be considered on a rolling basis dependent on space availability. 

Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications online.

  • Application for Admission

    The online application will be available mid-September. Submission of this form begins the application process. 


  • Application Fee

    $50 for domestic applicants and $100 for international applicants.
    Please include applicant’s full name on check or wire transfer. 




  • Transcript

    Please complete the Records Release Form and provide to your current school.

  • Confidential Recommendation Forms

    English, Math, and School Principal Recommendations should be sent directly to Fay by your current school.

  • Interview

    Admission interviews will be offered from September 20, 2019 onward. Please contact the Office of Admission to schedule your interview appointment. You may schedule your interview in person or via Skype.

    Please note that all applicants from mainland China are required to schedule an interview with Paul Abeln, English Department Chair and Admission Interviewer, or Jennifer Weeden, Assistant Director of Admission. Click here for more information.
