Upper School Applicant Checklist
The Upper School Admission Process
Submission of the Application for Admission form begins the application process. Day student applicants should submit applications by January 15. Subsequent to that date, day student applications will be considered on a rolling basis dependent on space availability. Day applicants who meet the January 15 deadline will receive notification of admission decisions on March 10.
Boarding applicants are considered on a rolling basis. International applicants who would like to be considered in the first, priority round of decisions should complete their applications by December 15. Subsequent to that date, international boarding student applications will be considered on a rolling basis dependent on space availability.
Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications online.
The following items are required to complete an application to Fay School:
Admission interviews will be offered from September 21, 2020 onward. Please contact the Office of Admission to schedule your interview appointment. Please note that you must submit an application before scheduling an interview.
Due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, all interviews will be conducted virtually via Skype or Zoom.
All applicants for Upper School, domestic and international, have the option of submitting results from an ISEE or SSAT test. Please send test results to the Office of Admission. Fay School's ISEE code is 222609 and our SSAT code is 3130.
TOEFL, TOEFL, Jr., or TOEFL ITP PLUS
Depending on regional availability, all international students for whom English is not their first language should take the TOEFL, TOEFL Jr. or TOEFL ITP PLUS. Upon test completion, please send your results to the Office of Admission. Fay School's TOEFL code is 8939.
