Meet Our Dorm Parents

Our boarders are part of a strong network of connection.

Along with Fay’s Head of School, Fay’s campus is home to approximately 40 members of Fay’s faculty and staff and their families. As dorm parents, these faculty and staff build strong connections with Fay’s boarding students. Meet a few of our dorm parents below!

Courtney and Will Sargent

Dorm: Kidder House
Hometown: Middletown, NY (Courtney) and Salem, MA (Will)
Role at Fay: Director of Secondary School Counseling (Courtney) and Lower School P.E. (Will)
Children: Avery (Grade 7 at Fay), and Brody (Grade 4 at Fay)
Hobbies: skiing, golf, cooking, hiking, playing with our dogs, watching the Patriots
Favorite after school activities at Fay: basketball (Will), watching Fay athletic events (Courtney)
Favorite meal in the Dining Room: Weekend Brunch

Andrew Barker

Dorm: Steward Middle
Family: Andrew lives on campus with his wife Caitlin, an educator at a nearby independent school, their son, who attends Fay's Early Learning Center, their daughter, and two dogs.
Hometown: Minneapolis, MN
Roles at Fay: Director of Residential Life, Upper School History Teacher, and Head Wrestling Coach
Hobbies: Coaching football, wrestling, and lacrosse and hiking throughout New England
Favorite thing about living on campus: Raising my family surrounded by a diverse and welcoming community
Favorite Fay events: The annual Fay Wrestling Tournament and Founders Day

Trey Dugger

Dorm: Village Boys Dorm
Family: Trey lives on campus with his wife Shannon, a School Counselor at Fay, their two daughters, who attend Fay, and their son who is a Fay graduate and currently attends college. 
Hometown: Brentwood, NY
Roles at Fay: Music Teacher
Favorite weekend activity at Fay: Music jam sessions in Reinke
Favorite Fay events: The Spring Instrumental Concert
Favorite meal in the Dining Room: General Tso’s Chicken with rice and broccoli
Favorite thing about living on campus: I love living on campus surrounded by beautiful architecture, nature, and wonderful people.
