Seasonal Groundskeeper

The Seasonal Groundskeeper supports the maintenance and upkeep of the School’s 66-acre campus, and reports to the Director of Facilities as a member of the Facilities Department. Successful candidates must be able to communicate effectively and demonstrate a high degree of customer service. With guidance from the Director of Facilities and other members of the Facilities Department, the Seasonal Groundskeeper is expected to work independently and to show initiative, while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team. Responsibilities include mowing, raking, loading and unloading trucks, moving and setting up equipment, tending grounds and reporting concerns, and making minor repairs using simple hand tools.

The normal work schedule is 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. This position is an hourly position with a rate of $18/hour. This position is eligible for overtime and overtime is available intermittently throughout the summer. This is a temporary, seasonal position from June to August 2026. This position is not eligible for benefits. Candidates must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States and must be able to provide a work permit if under 18.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and previous related experience. Previous experience using push and power mowers is preferred.
