Will joined the Athletic Department at Fay in 2006. He currently teaches second through fourth-grade physical education. As a PE teacher, Will loves working with children and creating a learning environment in which all students feel comfortable trying new skills. He especially enjoys sharing his love of sports with those students who might not think of themselves as athletic or sports-oriented by fostering a love of the game, rather than focusing on competition. Will also helps to develop and implement the fifth and sixth-grade athletic program, including coaching the boys' 5-6 soccer team and 5-6 lacrosse. In the winter, Will coaches Girls' Varsity Basketball. In addition to his role in the Athletic Department, Will has taught various Wellness classes throughout his time at Fay. Teaching Wellness in the Lower School, he enjoys connecting with students in this less formal classroom setting and discussing relevant topics at the appropriate developmental level. He also enjoys working as a dorm parent during evenings and weekends with the Upper School boarding students. Will lives on campus with his wife, Courtney, their children, Avery and Brody, and their dogs.
