FAQ

List of 6 items.

  • What happens during Revisit Day?

The purpose of our Revisit Day is to give parents and guardians of accepted students an opportunity to take one more look and get all their questions answered before making a decision about enrolling -- and of course families who have already chosen Fay and have enrolled are also invited to meet more members of our community and celebrate with us. There is scheduled programming for parents and guardians, as well as time to mingle.

For newly accepted students in grades 5 through 9, the day gives them the opportunity to attend classes with a student host. Note that these students may be dropped off at 7:30 am and get picked up at 11:20; it is not necessary for a parent or guardian to attend with them, although a robust morning of programming is offered for parents and guardians.

No programming is offered for students who will join us in Kindergarten through grade 4; the event is designed for parents and guardians of these students to visit with us.
  • Will students participate in the classes they visit?

Fay’s Revisit Day is an opportunity for newly accepted students to attend classes and get a better sense of what it will be like to be a Fay student. Students should feel free to ask questions and engage in class discussions, though class participation is not required.
  • What should students wear and bring?

Newly accepted students should plan to wear clothes similar to Fay’s dress code: nice pants or a skirt, a collared shirt, and dress shoes. A blazer and tie are not necessary. Students do not need to bring a backpack or any other school supplies.
  • Can students request a particular Fay student to be their host?

Newly accepted students who already know a Fay student with whom they would like to be paired may inform the Office of Admission about this preference. Admission staff will do their best to arrange the pairing.
  • Can I visit the dorms?

Yes, at the conclusion of the event optional dorm tours will be available for interested families.
  • Will the School Store be open during Revisit Day?

The School Store will be open during Revisit Day from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm to stock up on Fay gear. You can also shop online by clicking here.
