Saturdays at Fay School

Free Programs for Parents and Young Children

Saturdays at Fay is a series of free Saturday morning programs designed for young children along with their parents/guardians. All programs take place at Fay’s Primary School, located at 23 Middle Road in Southborough and are open to the public.

Choo Choo & Play Too

Saturday, May 10, 9:00 - 11:00 AM
Dance, laugh, and sing along with Matt Heaton, a local children's musician, while enjoying train rides on a trackless train and time on our playground. Matt believes that children’s music can be entertaining for both children and adults, and his music blends mid-century American guitar styles (surf, rockabilly, western swing, and soul). The concert will take place between 9:30 and 10:30 AM, while train rides and the playground will be available throughout the duration of the event.

Learn More About Fay School

Fay School's 66-acre campus is located in Southborough, MA, just 25 miles west of Boston. Our community includes day students in Kindergarten through grade nine and boarding students in grades seven through nine.

Our teachers work closely across grades and across disciplines to create a rich program that teaches foundational skills while also supporting critical thinking and creativity. Fay teachers believe in making learning "serious fun" - engaging, meaningful, authentic, and appropriately challenging.

Fay’s traditional curriculum is balanced with an innovative focus on creativity and design in every discipline. In every grade, students participate in classes where they are challenged to identify problems, think creatively, and iterate and test solutions. Many of these classes take place in Fay School’s new Center for Creativity and Design, a 7,000 square-foot space with dedicated spaces for designing, fabrication, and tinkering.
