Transportation Services

If you are unable to pick up or drop off your child for a vacation, we offer the following transportation services:

• Transportation to/from Boston Logan Airport
• Transportation to/from New York JFK Airport
• Car service to a location other than an airport
• A bus to Midtown Manhattan (not available at the start or end of the school year)

All of the transportation services offered are coordinated by outside companies in conjunction with the Residential Life Office. Families will be responsible for the cost of the services incurred. All transportation charges will be applied to the child’s Smart Tuition account.

Bus Service to New York

For all major vacations, we charter a passenger van from Knight’s Limo to drive students from Fay School to the Hilton Hotel at 1335 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown Manhattan.

The bus departs campus at 3:00 p.m. on the day of dismissal and typically arrives in Manhattan around 8:00 p.m. For the return to campus, the bus departs from the Manhattan Hilton at 1:00 p.m. and should arrive back to Fay at approximately 6:00 p.m. The cost of the bus is split evenly amongst all the students riding the bus. Generally, the cost of the bus to NYC is around $80 each way and will be billed to your Smart Tuition account.

We do not provide a Fay chaperone on the bus.

Concierge Services

The Residential Life Office is also able to help you arrange transportation services to and from the local airports (Boston Logan Airport and New York JFK Airport) or arrange a car service to transport students to a local destination. If you are in need of these transportation services, it is important for you to note that while Fay does not provide these services, we work very closely with an outside company, Concierge Services for Students, to provide these services to families.

By completing the online Vacation Travel Form, you are providing us with all the information necessary to pass along to the representatives at Concierge to coordinate all of your child’s travel logistics.

For all vacation travel plans, Concierge requires at least one week notice. For travel services throughout the rest of the year, Concierge requires at least two days notice.
