"Our Athletics program is such an important part of a student's experience here at Fay, and I love being able to share my passion for sports with all of my players. Whether a student is a top athlete or just a beginner, there is so much they can learn from playing a team sport. Respect, discipline, communication, effort, and enthusiasm are all at the heart of every team I coach. Fay's athletic program provides a great culture for young athletes to play competitively, while still having a lot of fun improving their skills and knowledge of the game."
Matt Greene joined the Fay community in 2015 as the Athletics Liaison in our Office of Admission. Matt is the Head Coach of Varsity A Boys Soccer and Varsity Softball, and he has also worked in the residential life program and advisory program at Fay. Outside of Fay, he has worked as an AAU baseball coach for the Northeast Eagles and Nokona Baseball programs. Matt will be entering his thirteenth year as an educator and multi-sport coach. Prior to Fay, he worked as a history teacher and three-sport coach at Lawrence Academy. He holds coaching licenses and certifications in both soccer and baseball. Matt lives off-campus in Westford, MA with his wife and son.
