 | Learn More About Fay Discovery Summer Day Camp! Fay Discovery Summer is a dynamic, hands-on program for children entering Pre-Kindergarten through grade nine. Our program provides campers and students with an engaging and nurturing atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and lasting connections among children and adults.
This summer, Fay Discovery offers two options for campers age 3 to 15. Our Traditional Camp features a busy day full of fun camp activities for campers grouped by age. Campers who want to pursue a hobby or interest in more depth can choose our weeklong Specialty Camps, which offer a half-day focus on one topic coupled with a half-day of traditional camp activities. Swim lessons take place each day for campers in both programs.
Summer is a time to try new things, make friends, and have fun. Our philosophy is to make summer memorable for all our campers by giving them the opportunity to be themselves in a fun and safe place where they can learn new things and make new friends. Please don't hesitate to contact us at summer@fayschool.org or 508.490.8371 to book a tour or attend an information session.

Facilities Fay Discovery takes place on Fay School’s 66-acre campus in Southborough, MA. Students have access to all of the school’s state-of-the-art facilities, including the pool, athletic fields, tennis courts, gyms, indoor rock climbing wall, outdoor adventure course, theater, dance studio, and arts center with painting studio, printmaking room, and pottery wheels. |
|
Safety At Fay Discovery, safety is of primary importance. Our staff participates in extensive training in preparation for their work with campers. Low camper-to-staff ratios make possible quality supervision at all times. Swimming instructors are lifeguard certified, and camp staff are trained in first aid and CPR. |
|
Daily Swimming Fay Discovery’s swim instruction program follows the Red Cross swim lesson guidelines. Every camper participates in a swim assessment upon beginning camp so instructors can place children in appropriate groups. Small instructional groups help children learn water safety and build swim skills in a safe, supervised, and positive setting. In addition to daily swim lessons, campers may have the option for free swim. |

Lunch Option: New for Summer 2013! Fostering good nutrition is a key component of Fay’s core value of Wellness of Mind, Body and Spirit, and this summer, Fay Discovery will offer a lunch option for all campers. Campers may choose to purchase a Fay lunch each day for $5, or they can choose to bring in a lunch in from home. Fay lunches will be posted each week and will include an entrée, drink, access to the salad bar, and dessert.
Please note: Fay’s Dining Room is a Peanut Aware facility. If your child has severe allegories, it is recommended that he or she bring lunch from home. |
|
Family Connections At Fay Discovery, we want parents and guardians to be part of our summer community too! For our younger campers, counselors will send home daily updates so parents and campers can discuss the day’s activities. We also host at least two Family Fun Nights each summer, when all summer program participants are invited to campus to visit with friends, meet our staff and other participating families, and take part in favorite camp activities. |
