School Programs

Fay is organized into three divisions:

Primary School (Pre-K through grade two)
Lower School (grades three through six)
Upper School (grades seven through nine)

Within each division, teachers work closely across grades and across disciplines to create a rich program that teaches foundational skills while also supporting critical thinking and creativity. Fay teachers believe in making learning "serious fun" - engaging, meaningful, authentic, and appropriately challenging.

Fay’s traditional curriculum is balanced with innovation in every discipline. The School’s new Innovation Lab is the home base for a Creator’s Curriculum, where students in every grade level learn to design, build, and create. The Lab is a fully-equipped “maker’s space” that includes hand tools for woodworking, 3D printers, laser cutters, and computers equipped with programming and design software. Additionally, iPads are issued to every ninth grader as a learning and organizational tool.
