An education that attends to the needs of the whole child—body, mind, and spirit: that has been the hallmark of our work for nearly 150 years. We treat each student not simply as a set of test scores or a bundle of muscles but as a complicated, multifaceted individual. Of course, the best education grows with its students, takes account of contemporary research, and responds to the world around it. A world-class curriculum demands constant refinement, assessment, development. We seek a two million dollar endowment to provide $100,000 in annual income to support this work.
