Fay School Admission | Viewbook

I’m pleased that you are interested in learning about Fay School. For
more than 140 years, Fay has offered a challenging and supportive program that nurtures children’s intellectual, moral, and physical development. By offering a balanced program of academics, athletics, and the arts, and by focusing on each child as an individual, we enable our students to become confident learners and responsible leaders.
Fay’s school culture emanates from our core values: academic excellence;
earnest effort; honorable conduct; dedicated service; and wellness of mind,
body, and spirit. Members of the Fay School community are engaged in a
common endeavor, working in close collaboration to maintain a broad and deep educational experience that is firmly grounded in these five essential ideals.
By enrolling both day students and boarders, Fay enables children from around the corner and around the world to come together in a truly global community. Whether from Southborough, San Francisco, or Singapore, our students embrace common values and pursue common goals. While learning and playing in a
caring and structured environment, they develop genuine care, respect, and
empathy for each other.
To help you learn more about Fay, we offer here four stories that provide glimpses into the lives of our students. Each story describes not just the experience of a single child, but the workings of a community: a network of friends and family, teachers and coaches, mentors and advisors. Taken together, these stories reflect the defining moments in our students’ lives and demonstrate the transformative possibility of a Fay education.
I encourage you to spend time on our campus, meet the members of our
extraordinary school community, and begin to develop your own Fay story.
With warm regards,
Robert J. Gustavson, Jr.
