After Fay | Secondary School Placement
What happens after Fay? We’re proud to say that our graduates attend excellent secondary schools, pursue advanced study at outstanding colleges and universities, and become leaders in their fields. But we’re especially pleased when our graduates tell us simply that they’re leading a productive, fulfilling life - a life that they chose, that they love, that makes them proud.
The vast majority of Fay School graduates attend independent secondary schools. The Director of Secondary School Placement and two additional placement counselors work with students, their families, their advisors, coaches, and teachers in identifying each student’s needs, strengths, and talents. Starting in the eighth grade and continuing throughout the entire application process, the role of the Placement Office is to give ongoing counsel and guidance in selecting and applying to appropriate schools. Attempting to ensure a good match between each graduating student and a secondary school is the primary objective in placement. Listed below are the secondary schools at which our students have matriculated during the past five years (classes of 2002-2006):
